In June 2020, the PosLing-UFF Affirmative Actions Work Group was established, composed of the following Professors: Luciana Sanchez Mendes (Line 1), Phellipe Marcel da Silva Esteves (Line 2) and Joel Windle (Line 3); and students André Cavalcante Barbosa da Silva, Douglas Coelho Alves Ferreira and Fernanda Cerqueira de Mello, having Rafahel Parintins (Municipal Education Department/Unicamp) as an external collaborator.
On July 20, 2020, the Working Group’s proposals resulted in the approval of Decision No. 2/2020, which “Implements, regulates and establishes goals for the Affirmative Actions Policy in UFF’s Graduate Program in Language Studies”, and in the implementation of a quota system in the 2020 Selection Process for Admission into the Master’s Course.
On June 22, 2021, PosLing’s Board approved Decision No. 1/2021, which replaced Decision No. 2/2020, and established the implementation of a quota system in the 2022 Selection Process for Admission into the Doctoral Course, thereby extending the program’s affirmative actions.
